As from March 1st, 2016, the Embassy of Turkey follows the centralized procedure for visa applications of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.
The visa application is done online on the following website:

https://www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/

First, AND IN ALL CASES you need to register an online application.

Second, you need to send the reference number obtained at the Embassy via e-mail at turquie.brazzaville@mfa.gov.tr
which will allow us to verify whether the request has been recorded in the database.

Third, you will make an appointment online to visit our Embassy an pay the visa fee.

Terms and conditions

• Each visa applicant must come in person at the Embassy after filing in his application documents and bring along his visa application form duly printed at the end of the online application procedure.
• The applicant must present the original documents as well as photocopies, which may be kept by the Embassy.
• A travel health insurance for the trip may be requested to the traveler after examination of the application by the Turkish authorities.
• All minors must have a written approval from both parents.
• Foreign nationals residing in Congo must also submit their resident’s card with a photocopy of the card.

Visa fees

• Single entry visas cost 40,000 CFA Francs
• Multiple entry visas cost 125,000 CFA Francs
• Transit visas cost 40,000 CFA Francs for one way trip and 79,000 CFA Francs for a return trip.
• Applicants are requested to bring the exact amount in cash.
• Only official passports are exempt from visa fees.
• Congolese diplomatic passports are exempt from visa.

Required documents

Tourism Visa:

• A passport valid at least 60 days beyond the planned duration of stay

• Old passports, particularly those containing the Turkish or Schengen visas

• A hotel reservation

• Possibly an invitation letter (in case of any doubt, the Embassy may request that the document be validated by a notary public in Turkey). The invitation letter will normally be written in Turkish. It must contain the following information (to be copied and sent to the inviter:

Davet eden kişinin, T.C Kimlik numarası, açık kimliği, davetli listesi, ikamet adresi, irtibat numarası, kalınacak süre ve amaç, başvuru sahibi ile akrabalık bağının olup olmadığı, davet eden kurum ise vergi levhası. Ayrıca davet eden kişinin sözkonusu davet mektubunda, davetlinin iaşe ve ibate sorumluluğu kendine ait olmak üzere iaşe ve ibatesini karşılayacağını beyan etmesi gerekmektedir.

• A flight booking

• A bank statement of the traveler or other documents attesting to his income. These documents must not be older than 15 days. Alternatively, if the inviting person is to cover all of the traveler’s expenses, a document certifying the inviting person’s income.

• If the touristic trip is made through a travel agency, an original letter from the agency specifying the duration of the trip, the places to be visited and the purpose of the trip.

• One of the documents below:

1. A title deed in the name of the traveler

2. A lease agreement in the name of the traveler

3. The most recent payslip of the traveler

4. Any other similar document attesting the traveler’s attachment to the Republic of Congo


Business/ Trade Visa

• A passport valid at least 60 days beyond the planned duration of stay

• Old passports, particularly those containing the Turkish or Schengen visas

• A hotel reservation

• An invitation letter from a Turkish company (in case of any doubt, the Embassy may request that the document be validated by a notary in Turkey). The invitation letter will normally be written in Turkish. It must contain the following information (to be copied and sent to the inviter:

Türkiye’deki firmadan alınacak, ziyaretin amacı, süresi ve kalınacak yerin belirtildiği ve masrafların firma tarafından karşılanacağının taahhüt edildiği Davet Mektubu.

• A flight booking

• A bank statement of the traveler or other documents attesting to his income. These documents must not be older than 15 days.

• Document (s) certifying the occupation exercised by the traveler. For traders:

1. The trading license valid for the current year

2. An extract from the Trade Register and Property Credit Register

3. The trader’s card

Official passports

• Verbal Note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation

• Mission order

• Documents relating to the mission program (invitation letter, program)

Visa for a UN pass holder

• For official missions, a Verbal Note from the representation of the international organization concerned.

Transit Visa

• A passport valid at least 60 days beyond the planned duration of stay

• Visa or residence permit from the country of destination

Transit visa for those travelling to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for language courses

• A passport valid at least 60 days beyond the planned duration of stay

• A bank statement of the traveler or his parents or other documents attesting to his income. These documents must not be older than 15 days.

• Attestations of the higher education institution or university.
